HID's

I was reading a thread about upgrading lights on V-Rods (I have one as a toy now :D) When a bunch of the VR boys (lot of HID's on them it seems) were talking about a big sale at the HID dealer of choice for them was having, so I checked it out. I decided to upgrade the VR and my Road Glide at the same time at these prices. Not connected at all with this dealer just thought I'd drop a link in case any ones looking to up grade.

Just an FYI the units are Great! My brother installed them on his toy ZX14 Monster edition and found that the connectors are sometimes a PITA to keep connected. He finally just wound up cutting the harness and actually wire and solder direct to keep it all properly connected. But it REALLY looks nice and I wont ride in front of him LOL. They are really bright.

I have to wonder about the quality if you can buy a complete hi/lo set for 2 lights for $49. A good bulb alone lists for over $120.

I can only go by what the VR boys say and most of them had had them for better than a year so at these prices I figured I give it a try, might be the digital ballast that brought the prices down, can't say for sure :) but I've wasted more money on less before LOL! :D

Of the three none have both Hi & lo HID capability. The duel filliment have HID on low and a Halogen on high beam. The 35 W High beam is fairly much useless unless for marking lights or for a modulator. You want and need Hi Beam HID.
