I put a TallBoy seat on my '09 FLTR last summer and would like to go with a good backrest that will give me support but not push me forward. I went with the Tallboy (as well as extended floorboards) since I'm 6'6" and needed the room, so I don't want a backrest that reduces the benefit of the seat. I've not tried the HD versions, but the photos make them LOOK rather flimsy. What have other tall riders found to work well & be well made?

 

I had the ajustable back rest on my glide and it was great, I will admit I had to put in a vise and bend it a little to fit my needs. Then I went to a solo and moved the TP up for the back rest. OH! I'm 6-9

I also had to move the TP back 2" for more comfort and realy stretch out.
