Default Traded in my "Mini Beast" for a "Mini Beast II"

Pro Pad is having a program where you can trade in you original “Mini Beast” (Square Box looking thing) for the much better looking “Mini Beast II”.

You get $100 credit for you original horn, but you have to pay shipping both ways.
But to me this new one is way better looking.

FYI: It didn’t matter that I had only paid $108.50 for my original one off eBay. They still gave me $100 credit. All they asked was “where and when did I buy my original one?” and I told them. Mine was new in the box from an eBay seller and gave them who I got it from.

Here it is from the seat view, it's even good looking from the seat too.

Very nice, looks like a few less & smaller slots in the metal cover, too . . . is it as loud as the Mini-beast?

Yes it's just as loud. I believe it all the same internal guts.

Regarding smaller/less slots, there is more room behind it for sound to escape.

I have some Howards Horns, still in the box, that I never got around to installing. The more I see of the Mini Beast, the better I like it, especially the Mini Beast V, with the diamond-cut fins. Is that puppy as loud as the others?

All of the Mini-Beasts use the same horn, they are just different covers.

I still like the square one, smaller and takes up less space.

I trade mine is a few months ago. I paid $85 for it 4 years ago and got $100 trade! I got the MiniBeast V, Black and silver...They told me this one had a slightly louder horn than my original one since it was so old. The case bracket was broken, they didn't care a lick!

I just installed the mini beast II yesterday and that thing is great. My wife didn't like it, she said it would scare her when riding with me. Demo'd it for a couple of riding buddies and they both went and ordered one.

Sounds like an interesting mod. I know I can't put a train horn on my Ultra like I did on my Avalanche
