Default lowerd front

i did a search and found a post about fender clearence.why would lowering one inch change that clearence.if you bottom out you bottom out.i thought you would just lose one inch of travel.mine is all done and did not put the heavey oil in cause it rode rough enoughas it was.on the 09 does it bother like it seems to on other years.this has me scraching my head alittle.any one out there with a 09 and has lowerd it could you shed some light on this issue.thanks for any help you can offer.

are you sure the clearance issue wasn't with the tire and fender after installing a 21" rim often lower front after 21"rim?

no the post said that it would hit the brake splitter when you bottom hard.there where others that said that it happened to them.but most of them had a few years on them.of coarse there was only a couple that said it happen.but it got me thinking
