3M weatherstrip adhesive, if you choose to use it, comes in two colors. Yellow is more effective, AKA 'Yellow Death', works a lot better, but as has been pointed out, can be...how you say...'challenging'...to get off if you get excess on the rubber.


Black is not quite as good for sticking, but isn't as bright and obnoxious as the yellow in the event that you goober some out.


I, too, strongly recommend using new rubber, available at the dealer.
