Saddlebag Interior Light? Cant see when its dark!
Anybody install a light inside their saddlebags? Im new to having bags and keep having problems finding crap in there when its dark out.
So far I have been using my cell phone as a flash light to find stuff. Any cool ideas or do I just get a mini flash light? |
My buddy got some l.e.d.s (push button battery operated) from Wally World and velcro'd them in his bags they work great lots of light.

I installed the tour pak and saddlebag lights from HD, part number 54331-04
https://www.hdforums.com/media/image...pacer_e204.gif It lights the interior of the tour pack, and the saddle bag lights make finding things in the bottom easy at night. Saddlebag lights mount under the tour pack and work by touching the light. Shuts off after 5 mijnutes so you can't run down your battery. |
oh lordey...try a flashlight it even has multiple uses like if you need to work on the bike at night, or you drop something on the ground...get the harley one for only $233.33 :icon_dopey:

Buy the "puck lights" at Walmart. They have 3 LEDs and a sticky back. Cost something like 6 bucks for a pack of 3.

They have the round "puck" lights or they now have the oblong ones too that are like 2" wide by 4" long.......cost a couple of bucks at the local Walmart and work great.
I put one in my tourpak last year, and it works great and requires no wiring. Steve |

I bought a newer style long one. It swivels, you can mount the base and pull it out to use wherever you want and it has a small hook in the event you have to hang it. Worth all 8.00.

I had the puck lights, worked great! Then someone bought me the HD light kit for X-mas, it works even better. Don't have to worry about the battery going dead on the light.
