Default 2010 Streetglide Dipstick

Was looking for a chrome dipstick for my 2010 streetglide , have searched and cant find any info. Two different HD shops told me the only thing HD has to fit is digital, really dont want a digital , just want a plain chrome one. Is there anyone out there that makes these?????

Part #62693-07A '07 and above touring models, $49.95 on the HD web site, parts and accessories.

You must have gone to my local parts department.

I actually took that part number with me to both dealers and they both told me it would only fit 07 & 08 models. Man you would think they would know their parts better than that.Hell half the time i have to help them find the parts in the catalog!! WTH??? Thanks Sancho!! Ill give it a try!!

A fella at my parts dept didn't know what cable lube was. He also tried giving me an oil filter for an Evo instead of a twin cam. Every time I go to an HD parts dept or service dept. my blood pressure automatically goes up about 5 points. Therefore I order almost everything on line at 20% off.

It's scary how you go to a dealer and know more than the "parts expert". I guess it's like going to a car dealer to buy a car and knowing more about the car than the salesman.

Not to try to sound like a smart ****,,, but I always TRY to go knowing at least as much, (Not hard to know more really most times) when I go look at a purchase. Educated buyers make better deals I think.....
You'd be surprised how many salespersons at HD dealers knew hardly any of the differences in the FLHX's except for the 88-96 cid change in 07.... Knew nothing of the TBW in 08, larger brakes in 08, oh,, they all knew about the 08-09&10 difference! LOL
