The 21" wheels are great and will work fine with your existing fender. I customized mine for a sleeker look on my Electra Glide later on.

It is an easy and clean switch over. 120/70-21 front tire on the 3.5 front is the way to go. If you use Metzler 880 there is no need to even touch the front fender. I do recommend doing a front 1" lowering kit. the new wheel and tire combo raises the front 1.25 inches and by lowering it you just bring it back to close to stock geometry. I rode mine for a while without, and when I did finally do the lowering kit in the front, wayyyyy better. Completely eliminated the slow speed tipsy feeling and firmed up the feel at freeway speeds. I actually prefer the ride now, over stock!!

May be a stupid question but is there a difference in handling with a 21in front?

I can't speak from personal experience, but I'm considering this too so I've "searched" this many times, and based on what I've read, many people say there is a HUGE difference in handling.

Like what? I can ride most anything but short girls like to find these things out before diving in lol I am already putting a lowering kit on my SG but I know what to expect from that.
