Angry I Need Some Apehangers

Ok everyone, I have been looking for a good set up for some ape hangers for my 2009 Roadking classic for 2 months. I really like the Hill Country Customs kit with the controls and everything already installed and comes with cables. So, now the problem...has anyone ever tried contacting Hill Country? Its impossible. Does anyone have an idea of where i could get a similar kit or any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's odd about HCC. I just ordered a set of 16" fat apes from them on Monday. The guy I talk to was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. I contacted them via phone and also ordered over the phone as well. I will post my comments of the apes, cables, etc once I receive them. I have always heard positive comments concerning HCC...

Also, almost all of there shop employees are at Daytona this week, so there are short staffed.

I have Cyclesmith 13" on my glide now and I'm very happy with them. I also bought them from HCC about 4 years ago. I live in TX, so made a road trip out of it and picked them up from the shop. I bought everything seperate and did all the work and wireing myself. Saved a couple bux that way.

I ran into that a couple weeks ago before I started ordering my own parts. The guy at HCC did call me back but it was the during the evening. I call that morning. I found the prices were a lot higher than the website.......I could be wrong but I swore he told me the complete package would be $899. When I looked at the site, I calculated around $649 for an 09 RK w/cruise. Like I said, I could be wrong but it scared me enough to by my own parts and do the wiring myself. I also didn't like the fact that he wanted me to buy their FAT bars and not the WildOnes. Now that I have the WildOnes, I am glad I got them. I knew I needed the pullback.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I appreciate it. I was looking for the kit because I am in no way a mechanic and a Im a little scared to try the wiring. I may have to look at some other options. I did finally get ahold of HCC and they did give me the whole half our crew is in Daytona story. And he also gave me the $899 price. Again Thanks to all for the feedback and I will look into my options.
