Default 2010 road glide custom windshield

Whats a good height windshield to quiet down the wind so i can here the radio above 30 mph? I'm 5' 11 and the stock shield is letting the wind pound me so i can't hear ****. I would like a tinted one and the least height i can get away with.

I am running a memphis shades on my 07 roadie. Nice shield for not much $$. I am thinking about trying a klokwerks next. The memphis shades is tinted at the bottom and goes to clear at the top and much thicker than the POS factory shield that came on the bike. I am 6'2" and running a shorter shield than the stock shield with better wind protection. Basically anything you get will be better than stock.

Default hd windshields

Does hd make a better windshield for a 2010 road glide custom?

I have a 2010 roady, I tried the HD 10" and like it for summer use, also have a 15" for winter and like it as well....the stock 2010 shield is a joke...might as well not have one there at all....

Also can you hear the radio any better with the 10'' at speeds greater than 40 or 50 mph?

2003 and earlier are one fairing/windshield
2004 and later are another.

The only difference on the 2010 fairing, is the angle of the mounting bracket. Presumed to be in advance of "vented loweres" and the ULTRA version.
HD, Clearview, Klockwork, Cee Bailey, Windvest, Rifle, and other all make windshields for your bike.... finding the one that works for you... is a major PITA

I have the Clearview +1 with vent

I don't mind the wind but sure would like to hear the radio on the highway. I can't hear it clear much after 35 and i put those J&M 7.25s in the fairing. I would just like to have a shield tinted and high enough to allow me to hear the radio clear. I'm not sure what company and height to go with i'm 5'11''

Clearview, has a simple method to measure what they think is ideal, you can go to their site, and read how to do it.

5'11" is one part of the equation.... I'm 5' 8" but I have short legs, and a long torso. so I sit on the bike, as though I were 6 foot, or so.

I hear my stock radio, and speakers fine, and highway speeds

I can hear the stereo with my 10" or 12" windvest.
The 10" I use in the summer. I like that look better.
The 12" I use in winter, not as sexy as the 10 but blocks more wind obviously.

Here are a few pics.

I was wondering how tall you are and do you have any trouble seeing with the tint at night?
