I just reassembled the inner fairing cowl on my 2000 Road Glide and now it will not turn to accessory. It turns from lock to ignition but will not go any further in the clockwise direction. Any Ideas on what to do to get it to turn the full range?

 

Switch isn't lined up correctly. Do you have the alignment tool?

Put flat tipped screwdriver down ignition switch after you take it apart again, turn it while near the bottom where the fins are sticking out and just turn a couple of times until you get back to normal. Nothing to worry about and very easy. You just may have to turn it a couple of times before you get it back to the correct setup. Of course that is how the ignition worked on my 08. I assume it is similar to yours but if not, check your manual.
