Yeah, that's my all time favorite Harley tank emblem and wanted them so bad on my 08 RKC but it's not to be. Not until the MoCo makes them to fit the 6 gallon tank. Pity.

I have an 09 and they fit my tank just fine. My 09 RKC has the same tank as your bike.
I put a Harley emblem on the lift gate on my Aspen. I too measured and measured, use tape, move tape, relined up the tape, measure again.....................and the damn thing still ended up crooked. lol

Ftanner, I was disappointed when "Willie G" chimed in and said they do not fit an '09. See post https://www.hdforums.com/forum/6431995-post40.html
I'm just making sure that you have these installed on your '09 RKC:
Are they the same part number (61776-61T & 61740-90T) ?
Love them and bought them last year to have put on my bike when I get it re-painted. Unfortunately I have since been out of work but will hopefully get back and have it done before too long. My pin striping will match the almost cream color of the badge and run across the side covers which is something that I can't help but feel should have been done initially. BTW, re-painting will be same color and already have the paint.
