Last July on the way to work on a Farm to Market road cruising about 65 MPH I had two lab mix dogs get in the road without me seeing them and hit the lead dog taking me and my Ultra down. The Ultra came out of it better then I but neither were really hurt. I had to replace the engine guard but thanks to a friend was able to do it for just the cost of shipping for a slightly used but perfect condition replacement bar.

My left side outer fairing has a strawberry road rash spot on it and now I'm thinking it's time to repair it. Cost of Harley paint and trying to match the pearl is making me think of different options. One being to not worry and buy the Harley bra and just cover it up. Another though is to go with no pearl.

I know there are some creative minds on this forum so I'd like to hear if anyone has come up with other options for fixing or covering up a scratched outer fairing.

 

I saw a couple of white fairing for sell on e-bay, it might be cheaper than getting yours fixed and painted.
