Default Wesco Boots... east coast?

Anyone know a good place in the Mid-Atlantic where you can purchase Wesco Boots? I live in North Carolina and can't find a place that is close by that has any of the Motorcycle boots in stock. Of course they will order stuff for you, but I want to see the boots/styles in person before I just order a 4-700 dollar boot.

Was hoping for a little help from you guys. I know its been discussed here on the forum along with the Langlitz leathers so I'm hoping its ok to post this here.

Thanks...

Which part of NC do you live in? There are a couple stores around here that sell Wesco boots. I have had several pair of the highliner boots I work in (Cable TV work). I now have a pair of Danner boots that look just like the wesco with the added bonus of 200 grams of thinsulate and goretex. Discount boots in Asheville sells Wesco and Boots & More in Waynesville sell them also.

Thanks for the info Psychosis. That isnt too far to go in my book, I'm in Charlotte now, but would be willing to drive nearly anywhere in NC or within a state or two. I just want to get a look at the boots in person before I drop the cash. I had heard the place in Asheville was as good as it gets in NC.

Anyone else have any experience? I have some family in VA and will be travelling up there sometime.

I have two pairs of Wesco boots. The best money I've ever spent on footwear. I had the wife trace my feet and now have perfect fitting boots for the first time in my life. My left foot is normal, my right has been broken, and nothing fits. I have a pair of Boss motorcycle boots Kevlar lined I wear when I ride, and western style that I wear most every weekend.

I have heard nothing but good things about the boots, I'm a little torn as to whether to pay the money for the custom fit. I like the Harness in black just fine and my feet aren't strange as far as I know, have plenty of boots and have never needed anything other than properly fitting ones.

I found the Harness online for $319, and then priced out the boot on their website in two tone and it was nearly TWO TIMES as much! Argh! Anyone care to sway me one way or the other?

I ordered a pair of Wesco's from Bakers Shoes out of Oregon (http://www.bakershoe.com/clothing.cf...om-wesco-boss/). The lead time on the custom made boots is in the 10 - 14 week range, so prepare to wait if you want them custom made. I ordered mine at the end of January, so hopefully I'll have them within the next 2 - 4 weeks... can't wait to get them!

I ordered my Wesco Firestormers from The Working Person Store online. About $380.00. I don't have irregular feet so I didn't need the customs. They arrived within two weeks. I will tell you they are the best fitting boots I've ever had. Very comfortable. Money well worth spent. I would highly reccommend them to anyone.
