RE: Ipod plays out of left speaker only
If your radio plays normally out of both speakers before you plug in your IPod (therefore not being a "setting the balance issue") .. it may be the patch cord you are using. Be sure the end that plugs into the IPod is fully inserted and also be sure you are using a "stereo" patch cord. It should have 2 lines around it on the silver metal part of the plug. If it only has one, it's a mono plug and will only play through one speaker. Just a thought.

Bingo! It's either not in all the way, or not a stereo cable.

Hey... I feel dumb enough as it is...no need to rub my face in it. [8D]
Well last night I was sure that I had pushed the plug in all the way..so today I went out and tried it again with a different plug (with two stripes on the plug) and it worked just fine. Just like WLDHGN said!
