Hi guys, I need help on how to get the fuel pump assembly out of the tank. I have the bolts out of the top. Give me step by step please. Also looks like rust on the inside walls of the tank. thanks cass

 

It's on a hinge . You need to push down on the top of the pump while rotating the canopy towrds the left side to release the hinge, then slide the whole unit out towards the right. You have to remove the hose that goes to the regulator and manuver the canopy six ways from Sunday to get the sending unit float and fuel filter foot out, but it will come.
