Default SE compensator slide cam

Can anyone provide pics of the different slide cams for the SE compensator upgrade kit. I'm installing the kit on my 08 RG and need to know weather or not, I need to use the shim between the rotor and spring pack. Thanks

I just replaced my 08a se comp after 42k miles with the latest pt# 42200064A. My kit didn't come with shims, and didn't install them. But I have seen them mentioned on a tsb maybe if measured under .286"-.326" from flat of sliding cam to backside of springpak. Moco has been thru several revisions with the comp and the instructions you posted isn't the latest. Not sure if this info helps but I gave it a shot.

My kit is an older model, can't remember the part # right off hand, but it didn't come with shims either. It didn't come with the rotor either. This is an update/service bulletin for the kits. I'm just not sure if I have the type of slider cam, that requires the shims. I think I'm going to ride down to Fort Bragg HD in Fayetteville, NC today and see if, maybe they can help me out. Thanks for the info

Well, after tearing my bike down, I noticed that some of the parts on the kit I bought were used. And didn't fit! After getting a hold of the guy, I'm returning if for a full refund. Now back to the drawing board.

I replaced my compensator with the 2nd SE unit.
10K and it's starting to go bad.
I don't want to go to the latest SE unit.

Staying away from Harley compensators.

Bought a Baker compensator.
Have to see how that works.
