I just ordered a Daytona helmet off ebay for $40, including shipping(new, in the box). So, if a Outlaw helmet is 1/3 the price, $13 would be a steal! BTW, that Outlaw sticker looks stupid and could cause trouble. Who's idea was that? lol

 

i used to wear a novelty until i found one of these they look pretty good it looked good enough to convince some of my novelty buddies to buy em too way smaller than any others i have seen

 

$13,$29 & $40 bucks? DAM what do these things cost to make? I can get an brand new styrofoam egg carton for 1.29 LOL. Makes me wonder if all DOT rated helmets are really the same?

 

I've got an Outlaw. The sticker comes off. The DOT is actually painted on the back. Massive shoomage. It wouldn't be so bad but the straps are those really thick leather deals that partially cover your ears so it intesifies the mushroom effect.

I just ordered a Skid Lid from Jafrum.com a few days ago. I imagine every DOT helmet will make you look like the Great Gazoo due to the DOT requirements.

That all said - The Outlaw is a good helmet for the money, but the Skid Lid cost about the same and is slightly better looking. The Outlaw is a good spare. It fits in your saddlebag.

Well - got the Outlaw helmet today. Sticker peeled right off. It is shroomy... but as joewg3 says, its a good helmet for the money. There is probably better out there but I'll wear this when I'm not wearing my novelty beanie...
