I noticed that power comander show different model numbers for a 2000 twin cam 88 and a 2002 twin cam 88 , both are fuel injected.. what are the differences?

 

Up to 2001 was Magnetti-Marelli EFI 2002 and up is Delphi EFI if I am not mistaken.

there is a big difference. The Delphi is HEAD AND SHOULDERS above the Mirelli(sp). The Mirrelli is cool if you are not going to make any major changes but is noted to have issues with idling among others. The delphi will support any engine mods with no issues. Only if i knew then what i know now.....

 

The magnetti marelli system can be made to work well if you can find someone who is knowledgeable about their operation. They can be a real pita to get set up correctly. the Delphi system as earlier posted is way easier to deal with.
