Default 21" wheel and kickstand

For those of you who changed your wheels to a 21" front\18" back , when your bike is on the kickstand do you notice the bike leans more now then it did before the 21"\18" wheels. If so is there a fix for this? maybe a shorter kickstand or center stand? I have an 05 Electra Glide and just dont like the way it looks when on the kickstand.

There is a kickstand wedge you can buy that changes the angle of the kickstand. The link below shows them, but they are for lowered bikes, thus once installed, let the bike lean more. You could use the same principle but reverse the angle of the wedge to raise the lean. You would have to make it yourself as I do not know of anyone making these for 21 coversions.

Yes, my bike leans more than a stock bike after I put the 21/18 wheels on. It's definitely not something that creates a problem though. Just takes a little more umph to get it off the stand.

As far as not liking the looks of the bike when on the side stand....... I can't help you with that.

Seams like a great time for someone to build it. "They will come."

Mine too, it sucks.....We need to get Dr. V-Twin onto finding a Reverse Kickstand Wedge.

I olwered my bike 1" in the front and Arnott Air Ride in the back so it is not a problem.

I think it is a problem because anytime you park in the grass or any soft surface you have to be very careful that it's not too soft so that the kickstand doesn't sink into the ground and the bike falls over. I have caught mine just before she bit the dirt.
