Question for those that have ridden Streetglides and other touring bikes....
Do the rear passenger pegs on the Streetglides get in the way as much as the passenger boards on all the other FLH's? I am tired of getting bruises on the backs of my calves from banging into the boards when walking the bike into position. I have taken my boards off since I have a solo saddle on and am thinking about getting a set of take off Streetglide pegs if they are not as obtrusive as the boards.
TIA

Fold the boards up when not being used.... If you are backing the bike up
with a passenger on board, let them dismount first then fold boards up and
back the bike up.
This has worked for me since the bike was new.......... Then again,
it may not work for you or your circumstances.

I replaced the stock SG footpegs for HD passenger floorboards. They're folded up whne not in use, so I don't have a problem...
