Dyno tuned and my numbers

Got the ole gal dyno tuned today, pretty happy with what I got.
76.52 hp and 90.30 torque.

The guy that tuned it showed me a 110 screaming eagle Ultra numbers with 255 cams, Rinehart true duals and stage 1 a/c. 82.30 hp and 102.3 tq.

I will post the dyno sheet when I can scan it.

Is that with a 96 stage 1?

MACHD03 04-30-2010 06:16 PM

Steve,
Roger that, but just got an email from Bob Wood from Wood Carbs and he said something wasn't right the numbers should be higher so he wanted to look at the dyno sheet.

Okay, what is more in line. What have you done to your bike. What Cams, and what is a 150HP tune up? I am confused.

Your tune is also in STD format rather than SAE, STD will read high.

Here is a typical SE110 tune from the FuelMoto site using PCV, headers and slip ons.

Some good numbers here...

I would be very unhappy with the SE110 numbers.

MACHDO3 something looks fishy about that tune, HP and Torque should cross at 5250 RPM

Indianspringsaz 04-30-2010 11:39 PM

Stock 96 with a stage one will be within a few lbs of torque. I agree, something is not right. Sure doesnt look like they put a Woods 6 in it by looking at those numbers. Tune is not right either. You need to look into this further.

MACHD03 05-01-2010 08:30 AM

I put the CAMS in so I know they TW6-6. I talked again with the Tuner and told me that they did it all under a load or friction. Didn't do no load run, said it gives you false information. He said they tuned it on how it would be rode.
Does this make sense.
Bob Wood said they didn't look correct either, so I sent them to him and waiting on word back.
I am going to dealership today to get the air fuel mixture graph that goes with this. Will post it as soon as I get it.
Thanks for the info.

I will ask the tuner today if he is there, why the are not crossing at 5250 rpm

MACHD03 05-01-2010 10:07 AM

Just contacted Bob Wood, told me the same after he looked at the dyno sheet. Called the HD dealer and made some excuses about if they went back into force scaling and crossed it at 5250 it wasn't going to change anything. Service manager and Bob Wood should be talking as I type. Will be calling back here soon to see what the outcome is.
Bob said this is the worst graph he seen since 2008.
Just waiting for answer. I don't want to have to go and pay 350 again to have it re dyno'd somewhere else.
Hopefully we can ger her worked out today or in next day or so.

Bob Wood contacted the dealer, they are looking at the dyno tune and see what went wrong. Did ask Bob which is prefered having tuned standard or SAE, he said standard was more accurate of the 2.
