Default Mainly solo riding on the Ultra?

Hey Folks,

Anyone out there have an Ultra ('09 or '10) that they mostly ride solo on? In other words, is it a waste of money versus say a Street Glide or Road King if you're almost exclusively riding solo.

How does the ride and handling compare on the new Street Glide and Ultra?

Thanks!

98% of my riding is solo. It's not a waste of money if you value the tour pack, extra speakers, lower fairings, etc. I can't comment on the ride and handling because I have an Ultra and have never taken a Street Glide out for a ride.

I ride solo most of the time. Would miss not having the tourpack.

You can allways take the tour pac off and throw a differant seat on it and have the best of two up or solo.Go Ultra or Classic.

I have an 06 Ultra, my daughter has an 08 Streetglide. I ride the Ultra solo and get a chance to take her bike out once in a while. They to me, ride, and handle very close to each other. I do have the quick release for the trunk and lowers so I can use mine both ways. I'd buy the Ultra and get two bikes in one.
Buy what you like! your paying for it.

I see a lot of tourpaks or back packs. Your choice.

Ultra with detachable tourpack. Best of both worlds.
