Anti-Dive Solenoid

1990 FLHTCU, I have the shop manual. Can I ride my bike safely with the anti-dive solenoid disconnected? Does anybody know how to disconnect it? It seems that most of my electrical problems are coming from my front brake. I am getting a wicked draw when I apply it. The dash lights dim, the radio makes a little pop sound and if I am at idle, the front brake will stop my right blinker from flashing. If I increase the idle it will stay on if I apply the front brake. My dash lights dim slightly regardless. This only occurs when applying the front brake. So.. is it necessary to have this anti-dive solenoid working or can I ride safely without it.

Yes you can, disconnecting it makes it just like a front end that doesnt have it.

Took it off a friends '89 Tour Glide then lowered it, it rode great!

Is it easy to disconnect. I can't even see it under the fairing.

Maybe I am on the wrong track here. When I initially posted about the problems with my bike was told to clean and replace any bad grounds in the ground block in the fairing. I found a block that has 8 terminals on it. They all look like grounds coming from various places. This morning I was doing research on the anti-dive solenoid for my bike and I found a few pics of what it looks like. The solenoid looks like it is attached to this ground block. So.. here are a few pics. Is this the anti-dive solenoid? If so... is the block shown the main ground block that I was told to clean up??

It sits by itself on top of the triple tree on the left side. You should just have to disconnect the hot lead and tape it up to keep it from grounding out.
