A bit surprised at Corbin's reply about '09 Ultra Classic fitment
I sent Corbin a message asking if the Corbin Classic solo seat would fit with a Ridemaxx tuner mounted under the seat. I realize Ridemaxx is has only been available for 3 years but I'm somewhat surprised that Corbin hasn't had this question ask of them before now. Or, evaluate the fitment of their seat with a Ridemaxx Tuner for an '09.
Does anyone here have a Corbin Classic solo seat with a Ridemaxx Tuner installed? This was their reply. We have not run into any bike with this on the bikes so I would not be able to tell you weather or not this will indeed fit. But I do know that this is designed to fit only a stock configuration. |
Maybe it depends on the "weather" where they make Mustang seats. Blows me away when the front line contact of any company has no grasp of the english language/grammar.
Sorry I can't help answer your question. I loved the Mustang solo I put n my previous bike (Dyna) and had no problem putting an alarm under it wrapped in bubble wrap. I suspect if the tuner will fit below the top fram rails then it will be fine as the seat will sit on top of the rails. |

It was a great seat but didn't particularly like the mounting bracket setup. |
You actually GOT a reply from Corbin? THAT surprises me!

A spell check wouldn't have helped, as weather is spelled correctly. They just used the wrong whether !

What is the b^tch, they design seats to fit stock fitments, they told you that truthfully and you bang them. No company has resources to check every hookee A$$ setup. That is just the way it is.
Why don't you ask Ridemaxx if it fits under a corbin??? |

Why don't you as Ridemaxx if it fits under a corbin??? It truly is impossible for a mfr. to go out and get "one of everything" to test for compatibility, and even if they tried they'd never keep up. How about helping them? Take a few good pictures of the box installed on your bike. Measure the box and cut one out of wood, foam, whatever, and mail it to them along with the year/make of your bike and what seat part # you want. I bet you'll get a real answer, and appreciation for your efforts. "weather or knot", hee, hee, I crack me up :icon_lol: |

Why don't you as Ridemaxx if it fits under a corbin??? This is spot on. ^^^^^^^^ If you like and have any additional information for them to determine if it will work I can stop by on monday and check for you. I will be at a business down the street. |
Oh how nice it would be if some people would learn how to read.
