Just go the tool from Garry.

I am a bit confused with the written instruction. Would someone one show by pictures how the tool is setup for install, and for removal?

thanks

Joe

For pulling you need:

puller with the treaded rod, slide the sleeve (the big turned aluminum bushing) over the rod, put on the washer, then the nut. This is the configuration for pulling.

For installing:

the threaded rod (turned backwards), thread on the aluminum top hat no other word I can think of for it. The bearing will sit on this, put the bearing on it and then just tap the bearing in by hitting the back of the threaded rod. If i head out to my dads shop today I'll take some pics.

do you need the special plate for pulling the bearing or do you use the stock cam plate with the tool?

You don't need any special plate. the big bushing (theres a pic of it I click put on the first page) centers itself and you "pull" against that
