After 25 years of riding, and at the ripe old age of 73, I bought my first Harley...a 2017 Street Glide. Yes, the Milwaukee 8 did me in. And I must say that Harley got it right.

Traded my 08' XL1200N for a 18' FLHXS (stage 1) this winter. I'll get it in 7-10 days...

Traded my 2015 Fat Boy for a 2018 Road King. It was the demo ride that did it. LOVED the Fat Boy, but I am ecstatic over the Road King. The M8 engine is incredibly sweet. The King is easy to ride; not heavy and cumbersome as I had feared. As soon as I started riding the King I knew that it was the bike for me.

Been ridin Honda's and Yamaha's for the last 20 or so years. 1100 Virago, VTX 1800, 1800 Gold Wing. I just bought an 09 Ultra Classic, and wish I'd bought it, or one like it, 20 years ago. I like the ride position and overall handling better than all of the rest I've had. (please don't say I said any of this on the Honda forums). I really do wish I'd bought one sooner. The Virago was nimble and fast, the VTX is heavy, but strong and fast, the Wing is comfortable, nimble, strong, and fast, but there is something about this Harley that I really like more than any of them.

So......any of you in the market for a couple Gold Wings, a 1300VTX, a 1800 VTX, or a Kaw VN900 ???

Bought my first Harley, 2nd bike, this spring. Went from a Yamaha Bolt to a 2008 Ultra Classic, love it so far.

Congratulations! Welcome to the 'club'! About 6 weeks ago I got my first bike in 36years. Last one I had I sold in 1981 or 82 but I always kept my endorsement on my license because I just knew that someday I would ride again. The stars and planets aligned just right and I'm enjoying it again. So I'm turning 64 in June but hey it's only a number! I think it's great that us 'older' guys can still enjoy some fun in life...

Bet you're gonna enjoy that new SG for sure

Be safe..

Well...you and I were born on the exact same day and year. I just rolled 61 on my personal odometer. Sincere congrats on your excellent birthday 'gift'. I WILL be watching for that beautiful green UL when I pass through Illinois!
