Xied's

I just ordered some Xied's for my '09 Ultra
and am anxious to get them on as I have a
K&N filter on the way also.:icon_razz:

Good simple choice. I have them on my 08 UC with a Big Sucker and they work great. Simple 5 minute install. Mine lugged real bad under 3K before but now runs great from 2.5K on.

glad to hear that, always good
to hear a reassuring report.

Put on 02IEDs two years and over 50,000 miles now and no problems. The 02s are just a little leaner then the XIEDs but I kept intake stock.

I ran mine for a year and loved them. I now run a PC-V with a Mo-flow AC and keep the Xied's in the saddlebags as a backup in case of on the road problems with the PC-V.

+1 on XiEDs

Have had mine installed for 2+ years and they are still working great.

you will love the improvement from such a simple device. Easiest and quickest upgrade I made to the bike for the greatest improvement.

Let us know how they work on the 09.

I just took these off mine for the second time. Took them off two seasons ago but thought I would try them again this season. They seem to be giving me a problem at the end of a long ride. They did seem to keep the bike running cooler, but would cause the motor to stall at idle. It would happen after an extended run at cruising speed, like my commute to work on the super slab. When I would get to the first light or stopping point at the end of the run, it died. It would take a little bit of time for it to adjust to stop and go without dieing. Second time this has happened so I'm thinking they are off for good now. I do have the 103 stage II with ful sac duels and rush 2" slip ons.

used em on my 07 they are an improvment, but in my opinion not enough to offset a backingplate.
