Default How hard is it to remove the trunk from an Ultra Classic?

I'm real close to trading for an Ultra Classic. I originally thought I wanted a Street Glide but I like some of the extras on the Ultra. I thought I would remove the trunk except for when I take my yearly road trip. I know the trunk has lights and rear speakers. How hard is it to unhook the wires do they just unplug? Anyone have a picture of their Ultra with the trunk off? Thanks.

They look killer without them. Like a tall SG. I hear with a quick detach setup it's a snap to switch between the two looks. Lots of threads about this on here with pics.

Not all the lights and antennas have connectors but they are not difficult to make yourself. I just did it from a list of required parts posted a couple months ago.

Super easy. The tricky part is wiring the deutch connections. Just pay attention to what your are doing. You will do just fine.
Check out my signature. I've got the relocation brackets on the back. You can put the trunk back on in less than ten minutes. wires hook up with deutch connectors in that time too. You can put a rack on their too.

Loads of posts about the quick detach kit on here. The kit is expensive but worth it as it really is a snap with the kit fitted

Allow money in your budget for a low profile second seat as well. With the TourPak off the seat doesn't look right - IMHO anyway
