Default 2009 Electra glide classic transmission problem

I have 2009 Electra glide classic with only 3300 miles on it and the
transmission is shot already. Has anyone encountered any problems with the 09's.

Thanks

Joe

Ok more info. I an a 65 year old person that is a very conservative rider. No power shifts or any of that crap. First symptom was the speedo droped to zero while moving at 60 MPH, sixed gear light did not come on, engine check light came on and way to many clunking noises. Dealer first thought the sensor for the speedo was bad. They drained the fluid and found chunks of metal. Warranty will cover it but hope that this is not an on going issue.

So far, so good for mine. Almost 3000 on each so far. Hopefully your case is isolated. At least the warranty will cover it.

i'm sort of curious as to why you're asking questions in here, when it's obviously a warranty issue. if you did something radically dumb like draining your transmission oil, then your warranty will take care of the needed repairs. wow, simply amazing, good luck anyway.

6,600 miles on my Ultra. No problems whatsoever. Good Luck on your part in dealing with the dealer and warranty issues.
