1. Thinner than the CV.
2. Better looking IMO
3. Wind protection . . . slightly less than the CV
4. Mirrors hit the CV, not a problem with the WV.
5. Impossible to clean the dash with the CV.
I liked the CV for over 2 years. I've had the WV now for this season and I like it a lot too. I ride with a Mustang Ultra Touring seat which sits me higher than stock. I'm 5'10" tall and ride with a backrest.
I have the 12inch on my Road Glide. I love it. Been thinking about the 14 for the colder months
I just purchased a 2011 CVO Roadglide. With the original 16" windshield I am looking directly at the top edge, get a lot of wind buffeting my helmet and a lot of wind noise. Does the windvest eliminate the buffeting and reduce the wind noise ?? I have thought about the taller Harley windshield, however, would be really nice to see over the windshield instead of thru it ....Let me know what you think..
