Any more info on this? I have some customers interested but I need all the info first. I assume if the bike is lowered in the front the stock fender will not work?

Drew, if someone wanted to use their stock fender then their bike couldn't have a lowering kit on it. If they have a lowering kit and a 23" wheel I would recommend a wrap around style 23" fender like a B'Cool or a Fat Katz. Generally I wouldn't recommend someone using their stock fender on the 23" wheels because even with these brackets the top of the fender gets too close to the bottom of the triple trees and too close to the crash bar. It is a cheaper route but it carries the risk of denting the fender.

Thanks for the info. So a lowered front end with a tire hugging fender will be okay? I am reluctant to sell this stuff without proper knowledge on the subject.

The 23" wrap around fenders don't sit as tall over the tire as the stock fender does so you have more clearance to play with. We have a 23" fender on our 2010 Streetglide and have it lowered 1" with Progressive monotube. It works well but you still have to be careful with driveways, speedbumps, etc because the fender can still bottom out. If it was lowered any more that 1" then I would guess the fender would definitely hit.

Besides looking like your about to initiate count down for launch, theres also trail issues and wobble to think about. Now you can buy the trees with the rake for a 23" without frame modification from pickard. This manages to keep stock trail numbers with just a bolt on. Still have to cut the neck for 26" No way to get aroundthat.
