gas tank gasket
Had to get into my gas filter to check float. Didn't replace gasket. Torqued gasket as detailed, but this was late at night. Went for a ride, filled tank, got home and smell of gas. Retorqued screws, now I'm wondering if I should replace gasket. Gasket looked good.

I think you are supposed to change the gasket as well as new screws.

I changed both out. Noticed on mine some of the screws were hard and dry looking around the seals. Almost didn't change them all, glad I did after seeing them.
