I cut mine off. You know you'll never put it back on.

wd-40 and patience!!! wiggle and waggle, comes and and goes on like new, did it about 4 times with my eZ-brake.. very simple install.. also when your taking off Brake pedal undo bolts and lift up then slide out, no reason to mess with the other stuff

I just used a utility knife and put about an inch cut across the center. It was enough to take it off and when I traded it , it went back on really tight and snug.

I squirted a little soap and water in between the rubber and the metal and then went at it with a stiff flat blade inserted under the rubber.

Granted, there are some things I've had to tear up to remove, but this certainly isn't one of them. The secret is to lift the rubber nub (which is into a V in the metal) with a slotted screwdriver coated with dishwashing soap, molded into the inside EDGES. Do the top one first, the nub is located midway on the pad. You will see a bulge from the outside as you pull and rock the pad. Then do the bottom edge. The pad will slide right off, no damage to the pad at all. Of course a knife, dynamite, portapower, chain off you truck bumper all will work also.

Default How to Remove Brake Pedal Pad,HD fat boy Lo 2011

For anybody that's trying to get off the brake pedal pad, Midway inside the rubber pad there are two rubber notches that are grabbing the metal plate so if you squirt a little WD-40 inside midway through the rubber pad with a little muscle you can slip it right off.
