Wow, ok....just downloaded the 2011 SE catalog. Yes, the complete engine looks like the way to go. Interesting they also have a 120R set of heads and camshaft that will make this engine even more of a monster. I wonder why they even offer the JIMS version anymore?

Big question is VIN number. Do they ask you for your original VIN?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the $4600.00 i for the un assembled "kit" version. $5700 is for the complete engine.

Still, $5700.00 for a 135HP - 120" factory built 120" T/C with some great internal parts, wow.

I don't think you can touch a comparable JIMS or S&S complete engine for anywhere near that, PLUS you get to remove your entire engine and maybe sell it off for $2000.00+ ?

Thus you could theoretically have $3700.00 into a 120" HD built motor. Not a bad proposition.

Bump the compression up, have the heads worked and add a better cam and you'd have a f'ing monster on your hands.

It comes with 10.5:1 cnc ported heads, Roller Rockers, Timkin Beraing and a .660 lift cam and Harley is quoting 145hp, it's already a monster.

Has anyone got one of these on a dyno yet?

I was working on a 103 build this winter, it may now just become a motor swap.

Ok, well, add another couple of hundred for a gear drive conversion, still a cheap option.

Default 120 ci

Yeah, but what about us with '05 and earlier bikes. Now that would be something to think about. i already have an 04 HQ 120" Ultra Classic . But I also have an 03 Wideglide . Probably still go with HQ and Darkhorse crank when ready to go all the way. Still not a bad way to go for the money, especially if a warranty is any good.

Is that 145hp number at the crank or rear wheel?
