Default You're right, Kuryakin sucks!!!!!!

Recently changed seats and had a year and change ago instaalled Kuryakyn front and mid frame chrome covers on my 01 RK. After changing seats I found the left side of the mid frame cover had a big rust hole. After contacting them I was told there was a 1 year warranty. I guess I need to call and speak with a manager but just wanted to vent and share my experience.

But what if the manager makes good on it? I'd talk to the manager and give them another chance to make things right before venting here; you never know who-knows-who and is in this forum. A little bit of honey, as the saying goes...

Then, if they don't make it right, let us all know!

Eh, I'd take 'em off and throw 'em in the trash, anyway. Better to do that than let those cheesy covers trap water and rust your frame.

In this sentence, "there" would be spelled "their". (personal pronoun)

my view on kuryakin, is that they're pretty good with making stuff that looks like it came from hong kong or indonesia at best. chrome plated plastic stuff to bolt onto a harley? thanks anyway. that stuff belongs on a suzuki or kawasaki, not a harley.

To me, the Kuryakyn stuff is no different than some of the stuff H-D puts out. Some of it's excellent, some of it is crap. I personally don't care for most of the stuff Kuryakyn makes but I do have a few of their parts on my bike. I bought a pair of their chrome floorboard extenders and love 'em. I also have a pair of their Liberator shift levers on my heel/toe shifter, along with the Liberator extended reach brake lever. The only "non functional" part I have is a small chrome piece that adheres to the switch plate where my ignition switch is. All of these items work great and look great. The downtube covers and frame covers look to me like crap and I wouldn't waste my money on them. Here's a pic of the dash piece I have...
