Default Detachable RK Fairing with Stereo suggestions?

I'm looking for advice on a detachable fairing for a 2004 Road King Classic with a stereo. I would like it to be easy to remove and install. I would like some suggestions and also thoughts on whether I should just install a stereo that's on my bike all the time and then just have a quick release fairing instead. I would just like the fairing removable for when I cruise around town.

I've been looking at batwings for my 2010 RK. There are many vendor options out there and they all say they utilize the quick detach system that's on the bike for the windshield. Sounds easy enough, just need the cash to buy it,paint it, and get a stereo system. Probably going to be a winter project for me. Just do a google search for "batwing fairing" or search ebay. I have seen them on ebay for @ $1300 with a stereo, just have to paint and install.

I purchased a dragonfly fairing only and then added a stereo, speakers, head unit, wiring (deadcenter) and power arc amp. All said and done, it cost around 2300 after paint and installation. There are several companies that sell the fairing for less, but to me the quality and history of dragonfly sold me.

I know it can be tedious sorting through it all, but the search feature helped when I was doing my fairing research. There's tons of fairing stuff on here.

Look at Woody's Fairings, they are made in the USA and are very good quality and has a very good mounting system. He makes them with or without stereo.
Watch out for that Chinese built junk had one of those first, BIG EXPENSIVE MISTAKE!

I also recommend Woody's Best price for a complete fairing and he will work with you to outfit it the way you want.

I think Dragonfly has the best looking inner fairing. Not cheap, but well worth it. They also have the only bracket that runs all the way through the inner fairing, adding a lot of rigidity to the structure.
