wild1 518 and mustang seat, anybody has this combo?

I have read many post about wo518 bars but to me is more important the bar/seat combo than just the bars. diferent seats can make the same bars be confortable or not so...

anybody with wo518 bars and mustang touring seat can post some comments? I dont have a backrest in my mustang (I know they are great but I dont like the look of a rk with drivers backrest) so I would like to know if this combo is confortable for short/long trips without riders backrest for a 6.1ft tall guy.

another important thing to me is if you use the bike just for long trips, I live in Madrid (Spain) wich is a city similar (smaller but same kind of city) to NYC, I have to fight with cars and traffic jams everyday because I ride my bike to work. I saw that 518 bars are wide and dont know if it's going to be a problem to get thru cars in traffic jams.

Thank you for your help

btw, the other option is wild one baby apes wich is a little higher than stock bars, baby apes seems to be more confortable for city riding but I prefer the retro look of the 518...

I have this combo including the backrest. It's like riding a sofa! So comfortable! You can't see the backrest while you're riding and it's removable when you're not. I'm 6'-3" with a 36" sleeve. Perfect combo for me. I have a RG and the bars aren't any wider than the fairing.

thanks for the answer, have you try riding without backrest? I know backrest change the way you seat on the bike.

I have the Wild Ones 14 inch apes can't remember the number, with the mustang Super Solo seat with a backrest though i have ridden it both ways. I can control my bike great through tight spaces, and I am comfortable for longs days, my longest being 750 miles in one day with 450 the next day for a total of 3500 in 9 days.

Had the Mustang solo and the 518s on my RK. I'm 6-2 and it was very comfortable and relaxed. I also prefer no riders backrest.

Don't have the Mustang seat but I do have the Sundowner model along with the WO518's. The seat is comfortable for short and long rides (just finished a 3000 mile trip) and the bars are excellent. I'm 5'9" tall and it's the perfect combo. As to being too wide for traffic, here in California we can lane split and I have no problem with the bars. I have attached a pic with the touring pak on it.

I rode many miles with the combo before my wife bought me the backrest for a birthday gift. I've never taken it off since...!
