I've been without a bike for about a year when I sold my 08 Ultra Classic last October. I started getting the itch again in July and finally pulled the trigger on an '11 FLHTK this week. When I picked up the bike and rode 30 miles home, I had _______ eating grin all the way home. Damn, it felt great!
The wife and I took off this morning at about 10:00 to take the long way to a lunch spot we used to visit. Had a great time at lunch, drove all over, stopped for an iced tea at a local watering hole and then headed towards home. Pulled in about 30 minutes ago and both of us just smiled...we really missed that bike. Gotta love a 7 hour round trip for lunch!
Now that our son is a Freshman in college, we had to find something to do! :-) Tomorrow...a breakfast run!
