I'm thinking this is a pretty good deal from a price standpoint. I'm checkng out the bike this weekend. The best I deal I could find on an '07 was 20K OTD. Was looking to spend $15K.....no more but this one has the pipes, Stage 1....all the stuff I'd be doing anyway. Guy said he may wiggle a little on price but not much.
From Craigslist locally:
Showroom new with lots of extras. Silver, Just 3,200 miles. XM Radio, Stage One Kit, Vance and Hines Complete Pipes, Leather Bra and Hard Bag Covers and Numerous Chrome Items. All maintenance (during this brief ownership) was done at the dealer. This bike is barely broken in. This is a fantastic deal for someone wanting a beautiful cruising bike with great tunes, cruise control, hard lockable luggage, but a very sporty look. It is killing me to give up this bike after just having purchased it a few months ago, but have to do it to purchase the sail boat of my dreams. $16000
Sounds like a deal to me.
Even the 20k in CA for an 07 is a great deal when you figure OTD.
Remember the 16k is going to run you more like 17600 after taxes and registration compared to the 20k for new. You get one more year warranty, bigger motor, and 6 speed for $2400 it seems.
I can't find anywhere near 20k up here for one OTD.

That sounds like a good deal especially with the add ons. But Rhubarb has some good points about the 07. At least with it broke in some of the issues may already be taken care of. I am dealing with some pops burps and stalls with my 06. I already have the 25 degree injectors installed.

I have to go with the 07 OTD - 2400 more - you get a New bike and don't forget the warranty on the new bike... its a close call.... it the color and extras "blow your skirt up" then maybe its OK... if you are settling then think about it...
