I agree, even if you like the bike, you have not gotten to the love portion of the relationship yet.
Let them take it back and get yourself a new and un torn apart bike and enjoy the ride rather than worring about if ot going to break down again on you

No telling how many years of life the bike has lost. Get a new one.

if you like the bike- instead of a 'buy back' i would swap it for another new one. (which IS a buy back, i guess)

I know that the MoCo has known about the problems since 8/2/06 when I went back to the dealer and they called in for help. If they still don't know what is causing the problems then it seems only logical that you take the buy back. Once you complete the deal let us all know who the dealer is so we can use it in our arguments.

Golly yes take the offer of getting a new replacement for it. The possible yet unknown damage from the o-ring screw up will be gone from your mind and you will have what you originally wanted. And now you will solidly be entered in the moco's system as a customer that better get what they expect.

Oh, if you take the swap offer, it helps out the rest of us, potentially, for the future. heeheeheehee But, you gotta do what's right for you!!!

make sure the buy back is not including a turn around price, either its what you paid with taxes and setup or just take a new bike and call it even
the drop on a new bike is amazing. don;t get robbed yet again
