My new to me '09 FLHX is out of warranty but I see there might be some issues I need to check (front tire, tank bolt, seat bumpers) from reading here. Would any of that be covered, somehow?

 

I have just found out that i have a Compensator issue with my 09 and it is covered under warranty until April 12. I would certainly check at the dealer for warranty expiration date or if those issues were part of a recall.. I am taking my bike in on Sat. for radio warranty work and the compensator.

Safety recalls are covered. Other than that it would be at the discretion of the dealer.

 

Only safety recalls are covered (i.e. the tank bolts). Any non safety campaigns would not be covered out of warranty. PM me your VIN and I can tell you if you have any open campaigns on your bike

Yes it would have. And if there were any open campaigns I would have informed you of them, so you should be all set.

 

Apparently not. It shows the front tank mount recall on my ride.
