Default TGS wiring

Installing a new TGS (32310-08) on my 08 RG to get rid of the green connector in the bar. In the original TGS there were two sets of wires, one in a black jacket, one in a yellow jacket.

On the new TGS there is an extra black jacket with two more wires (Bk and Wh). I'm assuming these are for heated grips. Can these just be cut back to save room in the bars? I don't plan on heated grips.

Finally found a set of PDF instructions and they stated those two extra wires are for heated grips. I cut the wires back and heat shrunk the ends. My bars are now wired internally. Just need the upper control housing to the powder coater and then finish up.
