SE Compensator Cost?

Just curious. Based on your experience, what are dealers charging for replacing the stock compensator for the SE compensator, including parts and labor?

Mine was changed before all the SE Comp thing started with NO improvement. I pissed and moned enough that they changed it again to the SE. They charged me just for parts. 249 for the SE comp. What a difference it made. No more rocks in the primary, no more viberation at 2800 to 3100 rpm, and no more big bang when starting. Money will spent.

Some have had them changed just for the differenc in cost between the two, 50 or 75 bux. But sence they had already change mine once, moco wouldn't pay twice.

Just picked mine up yesterday. Dealer replaced under factory warranty. Here is the breakdown. I paid difference for the SE compensdator, although some dealers are using it when replacing, just depends on dealer.
40274-08 SE Compensator Assembly 249.95
40356-07 OEM Rotor and Spring Assembly (COMP) 148.95

Difference $101.00
Labor is flat rated at 2.3 hours and they may charge (warranty also) an additional hour labor to check the starter motor if damage is suspected. All gaskets/seals and oil was warranted in my case. If I would have paid for the whole thing it would have been $465 for OEM and $566 for the SE Comp. The difference when I picked the bike up was unbelievable!

Stealers would not do mine under warranty so i paid out of pocket, $220.00 for SE compensator and another $225.00 additional parts and labor. In the end money well spent, No more 3000rpm vibration and start up clunk..

I bought the SE comp AND rotor from my indy for under $250.00. Don't know why the "dealer" charged more,
