Yes it can. If you look on the frame where the wiring harness runs under the fuel tank. There should be four holes. You have to install rivnuts 5/16-18 thread pitch. Then mounting bracket bolts to frame. Spring or air bladder bolts aft of the battery box. Should be install instructions on the HD website. EBay has used seats pretty cheap.

Yep. It's really comfortable, and looks very vintage. The part that shocks everyone? I laugh out loud when I tell them: instead of spending the money to paint the cover panel, I shot it with some upholstery adhesive ... And covered it with a $4 navy blue T-shirt! It looks great, blends well.

Not sure what you mean, you covered the seat panel with a tshirt? Can you post a detail pic?

Its an actual Mustang brand part. It comes bare gel coat for painting. The solo seat is bolted to a fiberglass cover panel that looks like a bare seat pan. It runs from the butt end of the tank, all the way back to the twin bolts on the rear fender... And then rail to rail on each side of the frame. Covers the battery and such. It would have been stupid expensive to paint it to match the bike, I thought it would look unfinished if I left it bare. So I was looking for some cloth to glue down that would be close to the Peace Officer blue. Turns out, a cheapie fruit of the loom T-shirt was the closest. I cut it open, glued it down, trimmed it... And there ya go. I will get you a couple pics tmrw night.

OH, OK> So, it's a seat with a t-shirt covered thingy underneath it. Don't think I have ever seen that on a bike. Is that because the Cyclone seat is a solo-type?
