Nothing like a good looking bike with some motor
I had no choice; got tired of getting smoked! You make a valid point about the TBW, but I won't really get caught up in chasing the numbers. The indy is confident this combo will run with damn near everything, so that'll be good enough. I already upgraded the clutch to the Screamin' Eagle setup, but have been researching the AIM VPC 92 and will probably add that also.

Default She's Back!!!

So I picked my bike up today after the install. I was able to put about 105 miles on it so far. The indy told me to keep it under 3K RPMs for the first 50 miles, then I could take it to 3,500 RPMs until 100 miles, and after 100 I can go up to 4K RPMs. This base map is set up really lean, but this thing pulls pretty good (so far). I'm going to try to bang these next 400 miles out as fast as possible, but we're about to get rain and I have to work all week. I'll let everyone know how it goes...

Default Update...

Went to have the final dyno done today...the computer was whacked out...still got a decent map, but it has a dip in it and the tuner wants me to bring it back after 500 more miles...still pulled 108HP/113! The thing is a missile! I know some guys will call BS without the dyno sheet, but I'll get it posted after everything is dialed in...

Kapone can give the actual w/ labor but this was on Mackie's site. I've been looking around in preparation for an upgrade but there's so much out there it's overwhelming. The numbers look really good for a 103". I'm curious to see the final dyno sheet.

****The package includes: complete headwork using all premium parts; boring and honing cylinders to 95 or 103 cubic inches; 20° dished dome pistons, wrist pins, clips, rings; and TC590, TC598 or another cam set as appropriate.
SUGGESTED RETAIL:
$1837.00
(Chain Drive Cam Set)
$2232.00 (Gear Drive Cam Set, 4 Gears, Install Kit)

Those are very impressive and respectable numbers Kapone. I'd be one happy camper if it was me. I'm still on the fence on what to do...103 or 107. Then the clutch ? Don't want to have problems down the road. Decisions...decisions...Congrats on the new build...enjoy !

My tuner in Santa Clarita suggested a Mackie cam but I couldnt get any info from forum members. Glad to here some good results. Now gota decide between Woods and Mackie.

That's true. I never dynoed my Mackie motor. It's carbed (45 Mikuni). It's fun to ride, runs away from most any Harley my friend's have, and runs cooler than a stocker. Numbers don't mean squat, I ride for fun!
