Paint yours.
The re-install is easy.
Be sure you have a HD Service Manual.

I think a painted inner fairing really sets a bike off. If I had one of the Glides that would be one of the first things I did.

If you have the downtime you will save a ton of coin painting your existing one.

Just do it! ;-)

Do it now or later has to be done cause stock one is only good for 2-3 years.

My inner fairing is 6yrs old, just starting to show some weathering over the speakers, middle windshield insert at some point was over tightened and pulled out, cracking the plastic holding it.had a repair insert installed.

I ordered a brand new stock inner fairing & cap from zanotti's shipped for $152.00,(harley doesnt offer a painted fairing in my color) was going to have the new inner painted until i found out HD has my birch white paint on back order with no release date,

it goes back in stock, hog tunes tweeter pod and some chrome trim rings for the gauges and speakers........ maybe paint next time

Have it painted now, You'll not regret ever having it done. While I had mine off for painting I went ahead and purchased the Spun Aluminum Gauges. The Gauges look great behind that painted inner fairing.
