Question Will 08 inner fairing fit 07 outer fairing?

Ok my local dealer gave me an new 08 inner fairing a couple of years ago and I am wanting to have it painted to match my outer fairing. I know the vent wings change from three to four screw but will the other screw holes match?

You will just have to make a hole for your throttle cables. The 08 changed to throttle by wire.

The air deflectors on the 07 use 3 holes, the 08 and later use 4 holes. You can grab deflectors for an 08 and later or be left with an empty hole.

the good news is the location for the throttle cable holes are marked on the backside. I bought a new take off for my 04 and was busy measuring to make sure I got the hole just right and to my suprise when I flipped it over it was alreay marked. Took 30 seconds with a dremel.

Thank you. my bike is at my dealer right now and I am taking the inner fairing in to my body shop man in the morning. He is also painting a couple of hard saddlebags for my wife's Heritage. She is getting a Stage 1 and V&H Double barrel long pipes from Santa along with the hard bags. Since we are getting the bags painted I thought I would have the fairing painted also. Both bikes are the same color.
