My 2008 EGC had one on it when I bought it. Don't know how much it does, but I can't use my jack because it hangs lower than the frame. It scrapes the ground sometimes. Other than that it is probably ok.
It wasn't a "Bagger Brace" then..There are no parts lower than the frame on that particular brace.I had one.
I installed the Bagger Brace on my bike and was amazed at how much better the whole bike responded afterward (I have an 08 Road Glide). This is one of the best mods I made on my bike. I've tried to encourage all my riding buddies to get one, but they are reluctant due to the price. Then they wonder why I wear them out in curves...you made a great purchase!

Great. Ya my buddies all laugh at me because I never stop messing with my bike.
I can never leave things alone. I can't wait to get this part in.

My guess is you have something other than a Bagger Brace. I've got one and there's nothing that hangs lower than the frame.
I'll probably take a small beating for this comment but I have had the Bagger Brace on.....and off because of the slight increase in vibration in the seat that I didn't care for.
What settled down my high-speed wobble more than anything else was getting rid of that HUGE air scoop called the FLH Front Fender. When I went with the Fatbaggers "Wrap" front fender you wouln't believe the stablility. I mean there are physics involved here and the front has less tendency to float at high speeds. The old setup was like a kite!
The chin spoiler further enhanced my overall riding experience.
Not all these stabilizers are created equal! IMHO the ones to go for are those that use a stabilizer link the same length as the two already on the bike. That way there should be no conflict between them, or increased vibration. I have True-Track kits on both my Harleys and they are just great. No change in riding except improvements all the way!
I went with progressive Touring link after seeing posts on the ground clearance - also have Glide Pro setup also makes for night and day difference handling machine
So did I, however I am not sure if I feel a difference or not?
I think they all work about the same. My wife bought me the BB even though I had never had a wobble, but anything that makes it better when she's with me is worth it. Corners much better, grooves in road no longer affect it. the thing I like is it's up in the frame and not hanging down like some of the otheres. You don't even know it's there unless you look. You will be satisfied.

I hear ya on that cause the ole lady rides with me every Sunday. She is a trooper. And we bailed once together and I felt terrible. I was freaked for her but she was more worried about my me and my bike. After she knew both were ok she wiped her tears and jumped back on the iron horse.
