Default Cruise Control with a Mikuni 45 question

Have a 02 FLHT and I want to add cruise control. The installation instructions with the HD cruise control kit says it will not work with a SE carb. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if my installation is possible with my Mikuni 45, or even if there is another direction I could go for cruise.

Probably not the answer your looking for...

Stock thumbscrew throttle lock, set snug, does 90% of what cruise will do out on the open highway. Definlty works well enough to give your throttle hand some free time when needed.

I've seen some setups that worked with the stock Kehin carb, might be good to call Mikuni's tech line and run through it with them for the options they know of.

Tried calling Mikuni. in Cali. and in Chicago. If you have an actual tech line that would help me out too. If set screw is the easiest, then I will probably have to stick with that.

This site has about 2 tons of info for you to read about installing cruise control.

http://www.cruisemount.com/index.html

Also, Rivera Eng. is the only place I know of that sells an adapter that will allow moco cruise to work with a Mikuni carb.
